What a Wonderful World...
One of my favorite songs ever is "What a Wonderful World" sung by Louis Armstrong. Infact, in my college years, I was actually a DJ and worked in a Disco on Ski Mountain in Gatlinburg. Every night I would close my set with this song. I felt it was appropriate for the beautiful area that we were in, the Smoky Mountains. Plus, this is a song that makes everyone feel good. We live in a scenic area as well. And our Church is so beautiful - one of the best! Yes, our little white Church in the Vale is gorgeous (and thanks to many of you who keep it this way), but the real beauty lies within the walls, and those in the chairs, walking the hall, sitting in the chairs - YOU! The most beautiful part of our Church is you - the people, our family. And this beauty continues to get even better and honestly, it can be breath taking. And remember, YOU are a very important part of this beauty! Thanks for being you!
February, the month of love, has been an unusually beautiful month. I hope that you will take time to enjoy your day and thank God for His blessings. Take the time to share love and beauty (like the warm fuzzies shared with our children last week) with others. Make a positive difference in someone's life. Do the positive unexpected. Surprise them. After all God has created such a Wonderful World - with the best part being you and those He puts in your life.
I look forward to seeing you Sunday. We will continue learning from James. I really do think that you are So Beautiful and I thank God for you. And always...
Remember, YOU ARE LOVED!
