Love One Another...
Can you believe that February, “the Love Month” is here! LOVE!!
There are many scriptures that speak of the importance of Love. We see in Matthew 22 where Jesus shares and the crowds are astonished at his teaching. We are told that Jesus had even silenced the Sadducees. So the Pharisees got together and tested him with a simple question: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?” Jesus replied by quoting the very important Deuteronimical Law, Deuteronomy 6:4-6 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on year hearts.” But Jesus does not stop there. Instead He makes it current, real, and important (Matt 22:39-40) by teaching: “And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Here Jesus is quoting the Levitical Law (Lev. 19:18) and the importance of practicing, living, and doing the law. Not just quoting it.
The Scriptures reminds us, over and over, the importance of “Loving one another.” For us to “thrive in 25” we must truly love. And it really is not “that complicated”...

I want to thank you for your continued prayer and support. Patti is doing well with her recovery from surgery. Her knee is getting stronger and stronger. I am doing well with my recovery as well. I have another visit with a specialist and a few more tests that will be run, but so far I am healing at a miraculous pace. Honesty, I am a little frustrated with some of my limitations. Because of my seizures I am not able to drive for six months - until July. However, I know that it is for good reasons. So this is a short, but unique “season” in my life.
This Sunday I will be participating in Worship. Also, we will have the privilege of hearing Matt bring the Word as well. I am so excited about our time together on Sunday.
Thank you again for your prayers and support for the Castles. We know that we are very much loved. And Patti and I want you to know, beyond a shadow of a doubt that …
YOU ARE LOVED!
